VSTs
I have downloaded and now have FL Studio 8 XXL Producers Edition, but sadly I have no VSTs to produce anything worth wile. The sounds I am looking for is 90's hip hop (Dr. Dre G-funk kind of sound/2Pac All Eyez On Me sound), and most of the time when I download VSTs they just have techno sounds, etc. The closest thing I've came to a quality VST is Morphine, but I always get the demo version with a constant static sound popping in every 10 seconds so you can imagine how frustrating that is. I also need a good bass VST. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance and I can't stress this any more. This is something I REALLY need to get my music career started. I don't have too many other options out there.

Re: VSTs
The popping static sounds you hear using plug-ins usually pop and click, which is annoying when working, but once exported to mp3, it sounds fine, no pops or statics.
I have plenty of plug-ins and sound packs that I use, and my all time fav is the Shepherd, a very West-Coast kind of whistle. I also Claw, which is similar to Shepherd but is much more customizable. Try those for a Dre feeling.
Hope this helps
(BTW, What does Morphine do?)

Re: VSTs
Thanks!
Well the static sound in Morphine stays even after you export it but that's only in demo mode. I just got the cracks to work so now it doesn't do that anymore. I'll try that Shepard and Claw VST too. I need as much as I can get now. Morphine does quite a bit actually. It has pianos, strings, leads, basses, pads, etc. It's best for the strings and keyboards though. I don't like the bass it has too much, but that's usually the case with all the VSTs out there.

Re: VSTs
I'll see if I can get a non-demo version of that morphine stuff
@Dj Uzy, VSTs are plug-ins made by a third party that are virtual instruments. They're usually free and waaaay better then the default kits that Fl gives you, you should definitely check it out.

Re: VSTs
If you're not looking for anything specific, look up vst plugins on google. After you've downloaded, you copy and paste it into:
Computer/Local Disk/Program Files/Image Line/Fl Studio 9/Plugins/VST

Re: VSTs
The same gangsta whine sound and grand piano. Those ones were okay but they don't sound as authentic.

Re: VSTs
You know the sound Dr. Dre always uses on The Chronic? And for the piano I want the sound Mobb Deep had on their Murda Muzik album.

The strings sound like Still Dre. Good beat, though fast snare drums kill it
