Well, another subject the theory explains is how we may have viewed these aliens as Gods. Don't remember to much, I'll try to find the book later, but one of the things I remember was hiw explorers founds stone idols wearing what seemed to be goggles and other space gear, and also that the idea that the Gods came from the heavens = aliens came from space.

These pictures are from Zeitgeist movie right? You can hear interesting facts in that movie. It explains a lot about God, Jesus and etc. But I think God, religion is very mysterious things. You know, we can't understand all that things.
