THey spend some millions each day on clothes & so on lool, so sure they would try to get the best instrumentals cus that's what they do to live, I guess.. xP

Don't get the wrong impression of these artists, how they are portrayed in music videos and songs aren't actually how they live.
Not too sure how much artists pay their producers for instrumentals, think it was something around $500 to $1000 for Dr.Dre and Timbaland quality.

I agree, however music is also about feeling good, and they're isn't anything wrong with listening to a song (however meaningless or stupid) if it has a nice, clever hook or a friendly instrumental. There's a limit though

Its hard thought its like pressure because in high school right now there isn't one person who doesn't know at least 20 lil wayne songs, and only 10 people who know 5 Pac songs

Some people look for support and encouragement from celebrity peers that give them confidence and it seems Lil Wayne is a popular choice, most likely through a describing an exciting lower class lifestyle and through catchy beats and lyrics. Remember, don't choice an option just because its popular.

Well.. pac is gonna be the best for life tho, but I listen to those sometimes cus they got somethin new, I wish that pac wasn't fakin his death or really ' died ' tho, cus his words just got a meaning, well, some are for fun.. I know, but most of his songs are meaningful, rappers these days just sing about girls, parties & so on, but Pac is like what you say ' brought life ' for the rap music, even tho that he's dead i guess tho, but his songs are gonna be with us for ever, cus no matter what happened, his words are unforgettable or no matter what any other rapper is goin to do, pac's goin to be the best.
